It's 3:30 in the morning, and I'm sitting in my girlfriend's living room, lazily finishing up a project while trying to get a plan for the week together. Her mom doesn't know that I stayed over because she works at nights, but I douubt that she even knows this journal exists (hell, beth doesn't even realize it). I've still got a career paper, research paper, and powerpoint presentation to hand in by the end of the week in order to graduate, but at least I have the week off. That gives me time to work on getting Beth to finish her paper, since she's been partially lying to me the whole weekend about doing it. I've even set it as a condition that if she doesn't graduate, we split, and yet she still refuses to do it. How do you get someone that stuck in a failing mindstate to do an 180 in one week when 3 months has no marked effect. The one thing I still refuse to do is complete her paper for her. If she finishes this assignment, it will be on her own merit, not mine.

Another thing that's been bugging me is the fact that I've been sick for the greater part of two weeks. I've been coughing up everything from massive amounts of loogies to what appears to solid chunks of stomach acid. Hopefully, whatever it is will be taken care of when I get to my appointment on Wednesday. And I might finally get my haircut on Thursday, which I could use for a rebirth ritual...

A lot of things could actually go well, if I play all my cards right. Not working gives me more time to both complete my own work and lord over Beth to complete hers. The favors I'll get from helping SFC Robbins' charge get her GED might come in handy if I need a little assistance. I might even be able to get my Stella by the end of the month...
